The Origin of Food

In the pilot series for The Origin of Food Karsten de Vreugd and Hidde Boersma are on the search for the origin of the tomato. As the Director of Photography, I crafted a visually structured style to complement the documentary’s narrative. I did so by applying 15 rules. These stylistic choices contributed to a documentary that not only informs but also immerses the viewer in the rich history and evolution of food.
